Around 90 to 105 million people worldwide speak German as their native mother tongue. Most of them live in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also in Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, East Belgium, South Tyrol, Lorraine and Northern Schleswig. A large number of dialects are spoken in the German-speaking world. However, in language courses, foreign speakers learn the standard language, namely High German.

 

German is a particularly rich language. Because you can combine nouns together, as in ‘’ conscientious objector’’ or ‘’World Cup opening match’’, the German vocabulary is vast. Learn the language of poets and thinkers like Schiller, Goethe and Dürenmatt at the professional language centre.

Business German courses

Consolidate your knowledge of business German with one of our courses over lunchtime or in the evening once a week in a small group of 3 to 6 participants. Choose from three different levels: pre-intermediate (B1), intermediate to upper-intermediate (B2) or advanced (C1). All four skills are practiced: reading, listening, speaking and writing. You will become more fluent interacting with clients, colleagues or business partners who speak German. Learn the necessary vocabulary for meetings, presentations or negotiations.

German Conversation courses

You will build confidence as your German skills improve in our interactive environment. Our teachers will take your individual wishes and goals into account, tailoring lessons to suit your needs. Our courses are designed to improve overall fluency and language skills. Students are grouped according to ability ensuring rapid and efficient progress.

German Diploma courses

Prepare for an internationally recognized telc language diploma at our language school. You will practice all four skills (reading, speaking, listening, and writing) and learn the structure of the exam through several mock exams. You will gain confidence in grammatical topics and expand your vocabulary at the level to be reached. You are willing to invest approximately 3 to 4 hours of homework each week to achieve your goal.
