French, together with English, is the only language spoken on all five continents, in almost 50 countries by around 370 million people. It is an official language in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Canada and numerous countries in West and Central Africa.
Like the other Romance languages, it derives mainly from Latin, but other languages have also had an influence on French. French is the language of fashion and gastronomy, theatre and dance, music and philosophy. And of course, it is also a language associated with love and romance. Immerse yourself in this beautiful language at the professional language centre.
Beginners French courses
Have you wanted to start learning French for some time? Would you like to communicate with your international clients or with your business partners in their mother tongue? Or do you want to make conversation with locals in Switzerland, France or overseas? Then why not attend one of our beginners’ French courses over lunch or in the evening, once a week for 90 minutes? You will be given ample opportunity to talk in our small classes of 3 to 6 students allowing you to quickly improve your French. Feel free to suggest topics that are useful and important for you.

Advanced French courses
Do you speak French on a high level? Can you express yourself in a written form with ease? In this case one of our advanced C1 courses is ideal for you - standard or as a preparation for an internationally acknowledged DELF/DALF or DFP Diploma. You will perfect your knowledge and practice all four language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) on a higher level.

French Conversation courses
Your benefits:
You will gain confidence in your oral expression in an interactive surrounding and in an international business setting. You will be able to communicate in specific business related situations such as making telephone calls and participating in meetings in French. You will make steady progress with other motivated participants who are on the same level. Thanks to your solid knowledge of French you will be able to meet your clients’ needs more specifically.
French Diploma courses
Prepare for a globally acknowledged French language diploma. Your focus will be on practicing all four skills; reading, listening, speaking and writing. We will prepare you for exams by having you solve several mock exams. You will gain confidence, expand your grammar and broaden your vocabulary on every level. You should commit to investing about 3 hours of homework weekly to reach your goal.
Examination fees will be charged separately by DELF-DALF-Institut.

Your benefits:
You will learn by focusing on clear goals, setting a time frame and following a plan to reach your objective. You will get regular feedback from your teacher who will keep you focused on skills that need improving. You will be optimally prepared for your exam in the discussed time span (usually 6 to 9 months). Your teacher will recommend enrolment in the exam once you have reached a minimum of 60 % in mock exams.
