Karen Görlitz
Head of German
karen.goerlitz@languagecenter.ch
Karen Görlitz grew up in northern Germany, near the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lübeck, and earned a Master’s degree at the University of Hamburg in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and Russian. Her interest in other countries and cultures led her to Hungary, where she lived for over twenty years teaching both children and adults.
Seven years ago she made the decision to move to Switzerland and since then has gained extensive experience as both a course instructor and department head at various language schools. For several years now, she has been working in both these roles at PLC and is delighted to be able to pass on her nearly thirty years of experience to other course instructors. In addition to contributing her numerous ideas to the lesson planning process, her main goal is to share tips and tricks she has learned along the way that make the learning of the German language an easier challenge.
